About Johnathon
If you could use a little ray of sunshine in your life, then Johnathon is your guy! Johnathon is a vivacious youth, whose smile lights up the room. Most of the time he is very bubbly, and talkative. He is very engaging and animated when he talks and typically uses a tot of hand gestures. He is very friendly, and loves to help people. He has an insatiable interest in cooking, and enjoys making meals and trying new recipes. SSS recently received a photo of strawberry cream cheese Danish's that he was making. He is a good eater, and isn't afraid to try new foods.
He has determined he wants to be a bus driver someday, and has been very focused on this for a while. He is very interested in all things related to being a bus driver- including being a bus monitor, cleaning and maintaining the buses, working on studying for his driver's license, etc... Currently at school, when he has a break from classes, he cleans the buses for several different bus drivers. His energy and willingness to work towards his goals are refreshing.
Johnathon is said to be a great kid that is a pleasure to be around. He is very helpful around the house and participates in slew of different household chores including sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors, washing, folding, hanging and putting away laundry, doing the dishes, dusting, picking up after himself, etc... He enjoys staying busy, and feeling like he's being helpful. He relates well to adults and enjoys being around them.
Johnathon is very outgoing. If he were able to, he'd love to run for student counsel or for class president someday. He would also like to try his hand at working on a school newspaper, or daily announcements. Due to being in foster care for several years he hasn't gotten to experience many things that other youth take for granted. He'd realty like to go on vacation with his family one day. He said he'd love to go to Tampa, Florida, and hang out along the Gulf on the beach. He said that he'd love to also take part in day/weekend trips- such as going to King's Island, or going camping. He said that he would welcome the surprise or challenge of just about any new adventure. He said that he'd also like the opportunity to just hang out with friends, and go to the mall, or out to eat. He said that in the summertime he enjoys camping and swimming.
