Miya is a bright, kind and responsible teen who loves to be creative. She loves art and music and likes to express herself through painting and drawing and she also plays the violin. Miya is shy when she first meets others but once she opens up, she is funny and talkative. Miya makes friends easily and does well in school when she applies herself. Her hobbies range from make-up and clothes to anime. Miya has shared that she would really like to be adopted.
Miya needs a family that is loving, nurturing and supportive who will welcome her with open arms into their home. She would love a family who is non-judgmental who really cares about her and wants to get to know her and what she wants and needs. Miya has experienced a lot of trauma and deserves to be in a family that can provide her with structure, boundaries and stability. It would be beneficial for her adoptive family to be trauma informed and willing to take any additional trainings as needed to best meet her needs.
