About Layla
Layla is a beautiful girl in need of a loving and caring adoptive home. She is very artsy and enjoys doing arts & crafts and listening to music. Michael Jackson is one of her favorite artists. Over the summer she was able to attend photography camp and had a great time. Layla also really enjoys make up and spending time learning the newest techniques. She is a joy to be around and as a result has a lot of friends and gets along well with her peers. Layla also loves to spend time outdoors riding bikes, playing on the trampoline or just exploring. Movie nights are a favorite, and Layla has worked her way through many chick flick classics with her sister’s guardians. Like many girls her age, she enjoys going shopping and stopping for a sweet treat such as Starbucks, slushies and ice cream.
Layla would like to be adopted by a loving, supportive and nurturing family. She is open to all family makeups and just wants caregivers who she can connect with. She will need a family who is trauma informed and understands how that trauma manifests into everyday behaviors. Her adoptive parents need to be structured and have the ability to set boundaries, all while giving her room to grow and mature. She will also need a family who is open to maintaining the positive connections she has developed with previous caregivers, siblings and birth family members.
