About the Siblings
Kayon and Rekiel are two brothers who share a strong and loving bond. They have been placed with each other since coming into care and rely on each other for emotional support. They deserve a home with a loving family who will keep them together as they continue to grow. Kayon is a handsome boy who is sensitive, sweet, kind and well mannered. He is creative and artistic and loves to draw and create with his hands. He does well in school and enjoys reading a good book. Kayon is active and enjoys spending time outside and going to the park. He loves superheroes with his favorite being Batman and all things Marvels. Kayon’s hobbies include playing bingo, video games and racing remote control cars. His favorite outings consist of going out to eat and visiting the local library.
Rekiel is a cute, rambunctious and curious young boy. He is very affectionate and loves giving and receiving big hugs! His foster mother describes him as “a rough and tumble little boy who, like The Energizer Bunny, always seems to be in motion.” Rekiel gets along well with adults and peers alike and makes friends easily. When spending time outside, he loves to ride his scooter and go to the playground. He also loves to play with his action figures and race remote control cars with his big brother. Rekiel likes to cook and some of his favorite foods are chicken nuggets with fries, meat dishes, rice and cabbage. During his downtime he likes to watch cartoons and YouTube videos. He is also a Spider-Man fan and likes the shows and movies. Like his big brother, he enjoys spending time in the community at the library and going out to eat. Both boys like to attend a specialty overnight summer camp each year that they thoroughly enjoy.
These amazing boys need and deserve a strong, patient and loving family who will be there for them and provide them with structure, positive discipline, and one-on-one attention. Kayon and Rekiel would do well in a two-parent household with active and involved parents who can provide the necessary support to the boys as well as each other. Kayon and Rekiel would be well as the only children in their adoptive home or with siblings who are much older than the boy’s so they can have positive role models to look up to. Kayon and Rekiel need parents who will advocate for them and ensure that they receive appropriate services. These boy’s would fill the right home with a lot of joy, laughter and fun!
