About Michael
Michael “Mikey” is an energetic 5-year-old boy. He loves to play in water from pools, baths and showers and is always moving. Mikey does not sit for very long. He is very physically active and loves stimming on hard surfaces. If a room has some open space, blankets, and windowsills, Mikey is very happy and content.
His favorite foods are fruit, cheese, scrambled eggs, and meat. Mikey enjoys playing with his food. He does attempt to get food from others if he wants it even if he has the same food. He will throw tantrums often over food.
Mikey is very gentle and doesn't fight other children. He is generally pleasant around others. Mikey does well when you hold his hand outside.
Since being placed in foster care he has become much more aware of his surroundings and body. He is making frequent eye contact and exploring his environment. Mikey has also become more social, approaching adults to climb and cuddle. He does not engage in play.
